Earlier this year I was invited by Ubisoft UK to attend gamescom as a representative of the Rainbow Six: Siege brand. What I didn’t know was that I’d come face-to-face with the CEO and co-founder of Ubisoft.
The UK’s first R6 Major, hosted by BLAST & Ubisoft, was a success. It was a wild ride for me, and I’m just taking a few moments to collect some thoughts on the event, what transpired, and how grateful I am.
It was such a great honour to be awarded a commendation from Ubisoft for the work I’ve done in the community as a cosplayer and a propmaker.
BLAST and Ubisoft have today announced that the next iteration of the Six Invitational will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, and tickets are now available to purchase! The event will take place from the 23rd to the 25th of February. EDIT: The full event guide is now available here.
Ubisoft has been making some exciting moves with Rainbow Six Siege recently, but there’s one issue that’s been dampening the excitement: the lack of communication from the company regarding LAN dates. It’s time to discuss this matter.

Hello fellow Siege fans! I am excited to announce that I will be attending the Rainbow Six Invitational 2023 in my Sledge cosplay! This will be my second time attending the event, since first attending it in 2020, and I can’t wait to see all of my fellow cosplayers again. Over the past few months, I have been working hard on my Sledge cosplay, making sure that every detail is perfect. I am proud to say that my cosplay is coming along beautifully and I can’t wait to show it off at the Invitational. It was in need of repair after the Berlin Major in August, as well as some improvements after being in it for so long. In addition to watching the competition, I am also looking forward to joining my fellow cosplayers in creating an unforgettable event. Cosplay has always been a big part of the Invitational and I am excited to see all of the amazing cosplays that will be on display. The Round Table of Operators already has a host of people planning to attend in costume, not to mention the dozens of others from around the world. Overall, I am thrilled to be attending the Rainbow Six Invitational 2023 and can’t wait to see everyone there. I’ll have some awesome 3D-printed charms to give away if you see me. If you’re a fellow cosplayer or just a fan of Siege, I highly recommend checking out the event. It’s an experience you won’t forget!
Rainbow Six: Extraction has released, and I’ve been having an absolute blast with it! While I was somewhat worried that the quality of the game might not be great, I’m so happy I was proven wrong.
