Meet the Cosplayer: Neusifyin

REPORT // 19141 DATE // 16.09.2026

Welcome to Meet the Cosplayer, where I introduce you to some of the fantastic, creative talent within the Rainbow Six: Siege community. This series is meant to showcase the amazing cosplayers no matter their skill level or experience.

I sat down and spoke with Neusifyin about her history with cosplay, what got her into it, the challenges she faced and other things.

Neusifyin is a biologist working within Europe.

Meet the Cosplayer Neusifyin

What got you interested in cosplay?

“I first got interested in cosplay after seeing Darny’s work as Sledge on Reddit, around May/June last year. I reached out to ask how I could start cosplaying myself, and he invited me to join the Round Table Discord. From there, I put together my first cosplay, Frost North Star skin, using mostly items I already had. I managed to get it done for the Munich Major in November 2025.”

How long have you been cosplaying for?

“I only started, like last summer!? :D The Munich Major was my very first Siege event, and since then I’ve completed two more cosplays (Frost Default skin and Zero Elite skin), with two more currently in progress.”

What has been the most difficult part about cosplaying for you?

“The hardest part for me is also the most fun: learning new crafting techniques from scratch. I don’t have any artistic background, but I’m learning a lot as I go. Even if you buy some pieces from tactical shops, it still takes time to put the outfit together: figuring out what goes where, shaping things and making everything look polished, loyal to the operator we see in game. Plus some outfits/items don’t exist in real life, so turning a game design into something wearable comes with its own unique challenges. Thankfully, I’ve had a lot of support from the server and from my partner. I’ve sourced items from Darny (the “welcome mat”, drone and Frost’s necklace), as well as from second-hand shops and airsoft stores.”

When cosplaying, what have been three most important things for you to have with you?

“Velcro tape: I use a lot of it to attach pieces because it’s way easier than sewing things and risking doing them wrong.

Pouches: my two vests have a lot of pouches and I used them to carry my water bottle, super glue and a small sewing kit (also lipstick and hand sanitiser lol). It’s a lifesaver at events and you can carry with you and save your friends too! :D

Comfortable shoes/combat boots!”

When you started cosplaying, what was an obstacle or challenge that you encountered?

“One of the biggest challenges was learning crafting techniques, like sewing, drawing, painting, even modelling wigs! I am very proud of my progress so far, but there is a lot to improve and learn.”

What advice would you give to people wanting to start cosplay for the first time?

“My advice would be to just start small and don’t be afraid to experiment. You don’t need to be an expert or have all the materials at first: use what you have, try new techniques and learn as you go. Enjoy the process, ask for help when you need it and remember that even small progress counts. Most importantly, don’t let perfectionism stop you: cosplay is about having fun and bringing a character to life in your own way!”
